Welcome to the 25th European Drosophila Research Conference 2017
The European Drosophila Research Conference (EDRC) is the main scientific conference for the European fruit fly research community. It takes place every two years in a European city and draws approximately 600 delegates from all over the world.
The EDRC covers the whole breadth of Drosophila research, from evolution and development through to neurobiology, immunology, metabolism and cancer research. It acts as a major conduit for scientific communication in Europe and has a strong training remit as the majority of platform speakers are chosen from abstracts submitted by early career researchers. The 2017 edition is the 25th EDRC and will take place at Imperial College London’s campus at South Kensington.
The abstract submission form is now open! Click here to submit your abstract.
At the London Fly Meeting on 16th Nov it was announced that the winner of the EDRC logo competition is Alice Yuen, a neuroscience student at UCL. Alice received warm congratulations, £100 and her very creative logo now appears on the EDRC website and official correspondence.
